Boris von Bormann brings over fifteen years of clean energy and future mobility expertise to CoMotion. Von Bormann was formerly CEO of Mercedes-Benz Energy, Daimler’s division focusing on charging infrastructure, energy storage, and energy services in conjunction with the launch of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. Presently, von Bormann serves as Founder & Managing Partner of renu ventures, a growth capital venture fund focusing on the convergence of energy, mobility, and transportation. Von Bormann was the CEO of solar energy storage group Sonnen Inc. prior to its acquisition by Shell in 2019.
